Derry has received many awards for his innovative and culinary skills including the Evian Food and Wine's Best Restaurant 2003 & 2002, Best Restaurant in Dublin 2003 and Best Chef 2003. He also received the Bushmills Dining in Ireland Guide Best Restaurant Award in 1999 and 2000 and also the Best Chef in 2000 and 2001.
